Join me and comedian, writer, and producer Lauren kincheloe @squalid_gold as we dissect and destroy, roast and toast the 2025 Hallmark Christmas movie A Newport Christmas  a romantic comedy-drama (????) that is part of Hallmark Channel's "Countdown to Christmas" lineup.
Heres the plot: Ella Stewart Grafton (Ginna Claire Mason), a wealthy, charitable socialite in 1905 Newport, wishes on a Christmas comet for a different life and true love. She is magically transported to 2025, where she meets Nick (Wes Brown), a local historian who owns her schooner in the future. As they fall in love, Ella must decide whether to stay in the future, which risks erasing her legacy in the past, or return to her own time.
There is a lot to understand here from quantum physics, to string theory , time travel, compass reading, talking encyclopedias and a whole lotta Nordstram Rack! Buckle up for this time travel mess and find out if they will fall in love. Lets just say this is not the Gilded Age!
Also find out who wen would sleep with and who we would play!

Join me and Lauren Kincheloe @squalidgold as we dissect and destroy, roast and toast, 2022’s Hallmark Movie The Holiday sitter. Heres the plot.. Sam is a workaholic bachelor who's babysitting his niece and nephew during the holidays. Completely out of his element, he recruits help from a handsome neighbor and soon finds himself in an unexpected romance. Does he? Is he? There’s so much to get through as this known for being the network's first Christmas film with a gay couple in the lead roles and do we have a lot to unpack (and it’s not just Hawaiian themed aloha shirts. From their “meet cute” to their final kiss ( in front of the neighborhood and family) we re-cap it all.

Plus find out who James would be in A Christmas Movie and his highs and lows in pop culture. And yes he ties the current phenomenon of Netflix's Unknown Number to an equally scandalous case that took place 100 years ago.

Coco's legendary career includes being scouted at an Irish dancing competition in Vancouver, Canada, when she was 14 years old. Her career took off in 2006 after meeting fashion photographer Steven Meisel, which led to a cover of Vogue Italia.
In 2007, she famously appeared in a Jean Paul Gaultier runway show by performing an Irish dance which Vogue dubbed the Coco moment. She is also known as the queen of the pose a nickname she earned for her versatility and skill in posing, which she honed through her dance background.
She has appeared on the covers of major fashion magazines like Vogue and Harper's Bazaar and walked for top designers, including Marc Jacobs, Prada, Chanel, and Balenciaga. In 2014, she co-authored the book Study of Pose, a 2,000-page encyclopedia of poses.
Rocha was an early adopter of social media, using platforms to build her brand and give models a public voice. She was recognized by Time magazine for her Twitter account and by TikTok for being a top female creator.
In 2018, she founded the Coco Rocha Model Camp, a master class that teaches models not only how to pose and walk but also how to navigate the business side of the industry.
She is also a co-owner of the Nomad Management Modeling Agency, where she works to mentor and develop a new generation of talent

Nigel is a multifaceted English personality known for his work as a fashion photographer, author, filmmaker, former model, and reality television star. He rose to international recognition through his role as a judge and photographer on the popular reality show America's Next Top Model. Beyond America's Next Top Model, Barker has engaged in a variety of other projects:
Watch and listen as James and Nigel go behind the labels and talk about everything from those legendary America's Next Top Model editorial shoots, The famous Tyra Banks and Naomi Campbell beef and what it was like working with both legends. Learn how Nigel himself began his career on a modeling competition show, and what he thinks of camera phones. We talk about his two books, what really makes a super model and his latest venture in ready to drink cocktails.
His brand the Barker Company has hit the RTD market in a huge way. With his bottled (and canned) espresso martini and cappuccino martini making huge moves in the industry in a short amount of time.
No subject is left untouched!
Also James highs and lows in pop culture just might involve a very stinky cruise as well as a look back at Ballroom culture through the lens of a very beautiful film.
