In the Old Testament, God spoke to us about the tabernacle in two aspects: one was to establish His righteous law, and the other was to address the sins of those who had broken His law, so that He might become their God and they might become His people.
To accomplish this, God established a sacrificial system through which their sins could be washed away.

In this way, the message of the tabernacle is like a storehouse of hidden treasures prepared by God. To enter the gate of the tabernacle and receive the treasures God has prepared, one must first receive the remission of sins.
To claim the treasures hidden within the tabernacle, one must be someone who has received the remission of sins through faith in the work of Jesus Christ, who became the atoning sacrifice.
In other words, only those whose sins have been remitted can truly understand the truth of atonement contained in the message of the tabernacle.

1. The Salvation of Sinners Revealed in the Tabernacle (Exodus 27:9-21)

The length of the courtyard fence of the tabernacle is 100 cubits.
In the Bible, one cubit is defined as the length from the elbow to the tip of the fingers, which is about 45 cm.
Therefore, the fact that the length of the courtyard fence of the tabernacle is 100 cubits means it is about 45 meters, and the width being 50 cubits means it is 22.5 meters.
Thus, we can see that the tabernacle, where God dwelled among the people of Israel in the Old Testament era, was of that size.

I think that if I make a book about the Word of God’s planned salvation that appeared in the tabernacle and deliver it to many Christians around the world, it would be a tremendous confirmation of the gospel for many people.
When people come to know the Word of truth revealed in the tabernacle, many confused aspects of their faith will be rightly organized through the Word of truth, and as the words of the gospel of water and the Spirit are confirmed, it will be of great help in their life of faith.

3. The Gate of the Outer Court of the Tabernacle (Exodus 27:9-19)

The words in Exodus 27:9-19 speak about the gate of the outer court of the tabernacle.
In reality, if the length of the outer court of the tabernacle is 100 cubits, the total length would be 45 meters.
According to the Bible, people in ancient times defined one cubit as the distance from an adult’s elbow to the tip of the fingers. Therefore, the length of the south side of the tabernacle is 45 meters, and the east side is 22.5 meters. The opposite north side is 45 meters, and the west side is 22.5 meters.
To connect these, a total of 60 wooden pillars were used for the tabernacle.

The place where God dwells is called the tabernacle, and the size of the tabernacle including the court is about 50 meters north to south and about 25 meters east to west.

5. Faith Manifested at the Altar of Burnt Offering (Exodus 27:1-8)

This evening, I will speak about the altar of burnt offering. When the Israelites violated God’s 613 laws and the commandments they were to keep in their lives, and when they became aware of the sins they had committed, the altar of burnt offering was the place where they offered the sacrifice without blemish that God had ordained to. The Israelites laid their hands on the unblemished sacrifice, cut its neck, took its blood, applied it to the horns of the altar of burnt offering, and poured the remaining blood on the ground. Then, the meat of that sacrificial offering was burned on the altar of burnt offering, so that they might receive the remission of their sins.

6. The Laver in the Court of the Tabernacle (Exodus 30:17-21)

In Exodus 30:17-21, there is a passage about the laver made of bronze.
When you open the gate of the tabernacle court and enter, you first encounter the altar of burnt offering, and next there is the laver. When you pass the altar of burnt offering in the tabernacle court and encounter the laver, you have come one step closer to the house of God by that much.
The laver was made by collecting and melting the bronze used in the mirrors of the women who served at the door of the tabernacle of meeting (Exodus 38:8). Because there was no glass at that time, they made mirrors using bronze and polished them until they became smooth and shiny to see their own faces reflected in them.

This is My name forever, and this is My memorial to all generations.’” Go and gather the elders of Israel together, and say to them, ‘The Lord God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, of Isaac, and of Jacob, appeared to me, saying, “I have surely visited you and seen what is done to you in Egypt.”’ Amen.

I respect the faith of Abraham shown in the Bible.
When we look at Abraham’s faith, we can see all the journeys of faith that followed the word of the LORD, so we cannot help but respect that faith.
God blessed Abraham. “I will bless those who bless you, And I will curse him who curses you; And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed” (Genesis 12:3). God especially loved Abraham enough to become Abraham’s God.

10. The Promise That God Established as the Covenant of Circumcision Is Being Fulfilled for Us Today as Well (Genesis 17:1-14)

The covenant of circumcision that God made with Abraham in Genesis 17 was showing the spiritual circumcision inside the Tabernacle, in which a sinner laid hands on the sacrificial offering to pass over their sins and cut off the sins.
In other words, even in the covenant that God spoke to Abraham, the burnt offering and the grain offering were presupposed.
Today, we know and believe that God promised Abraham through circumcision that He would be God to him and his descendants,
and this was foretelling the truth of salvation in the sacrificial law of the Tabernacle, in which sins are passed over to the sacrificial offering by laying on of hands to cut off sins.
