This is not a book about fixing yourself. It’s a book about finding yourself—beneath the fear, beyond the defenses, and within the truth of who you already are.

In Blinded by Fear, Jill Loree reveals how the unseen force of fear shapes every part of our lives—how we love, how we think, and how we hold ourselves back from the very things we long for most.

But the moment we stop running from ourselves—when we start to face our fears—we start to come truly alive.

Why do we fear the very thing we long for most—bliss? In this episode, we explore one of the deepest paradoxes of the human experience: our simultaneous desire for happiness and fear of it.

At the heart of this conflict is a hidden inner “No”—a subtle but powerful resistance to pleasure, fulfillment, and expansion. While we consciously strive for happiness, unconscious beliefs and emotional patterns quietly push it away.

We’ll uncover how this inner resistance is shaped by two key forces: self-deception and perfectionism. When we distort the truth about ourselves or hold ourselves to impossible standards, we create inner conditions that cannot sustain joy.

This episode also explores how our beliefs about life—whether we see it as safe or hostile—directly affect our ability to love and receive. And we’ll look at how fear closes off our inner energy, while truth and self-acceptance restore flow, vitality, and connection.

The path forward is not about forcing happiness, but about removing what blocks it. Because bliss isn’t something we need to acquire—it’s something we allow.

What does it really take to live a fulfilled life? In this episode, we explore three essential foundations: a positive concept of life, the courage to love, and a healthy balance between activity and passivity.

At the core of all three is one central truth: we must activate our Real Self—the deeper intelligence within us that goes beyond the ego. When we rely solely on the ego, life feels unsafe, love feels risky, and effort becomes either exhausting or avoided altogether.

We’ll unpack how our hidden beliefs shape our experience of life, often creating self-sustaining patterns that either support us—or keep us stuck. We’ll also explore why we fear love, even though it’s our natural state, and why trying to “force” love from the ego never works.

Finally, we examine the subtle but powerful balance between doing and allowing. True creativity and fulfillment arise when these two forces work together—not when one dominates the other.

The path forward requires honesty, courage, and a willingness to question our deepest assumptions. Because when we shift our inner reality, life itself begins to change.

Once we have a list of our faults, the second step is to understand why they exist. Why do we cling to them?

Why do we cling so tightly to control—even when it keeps us stuck? In this episode, we explore the hidden fear behind letting go of the ego and why it blocks happiness, creativity, and connection.

At the core is a deep misunderstanding: we equate our identity with our ego—our thoughts, will, and control. Letting go, then, feels like losing ourselves. But true fulfillment doesn’t come from tightening control—it comes from learning when to use the ego and when to step aside.

This episode introduces the concept of “inner magnetic fields”—the unseen patterns created by our beliefs, attitudes, and emotions. Positive fields create ease, flow, and harmony. Negative ones create struggle, frustration, and repeated setbacks. The key is not forcing outcomes, but uncovering and transforming the inner patterns that generate them.

We’ll also explore why attempts to escape the ego—through avoidance or numbing—only deepen imbalance. And how a strong, healthy ego is actually required before we can safely let go.

The path forward? Honest self-observation, courage, and a willingness to face what’s within. Because real change doesn’t happen to us—it happens through us.

Why do we long for closeness—yet pull away the moment it appears? In this episode, we explore one of the most painful inner conflicts: the simultaneous desire for connection and fear of intimacy.

At the heart of this struggle is a deeply ingrained belief that life is a competition—“me versus the other.” This mindset drives us to protect ourselves, hold back, and maintain control. Yet it also traps us in isolation, creating the very loneliness we’re trying to escape.

True connection requires something radically different: a shift toward “me and the other.” This means learning to give—to life, to others, and to ourselves—without fear of loss. It also requires honesty: seeing both our destructive tendencies and our hidden strengths.

As we begin to release our need for control and stop withholding, a new experience emerges. Relationships become more natural, life feels safer, and a deeper sense of aliveness takes hold.

The paradox? Letting go doesn’t weaken us—it frees us. And what once felt dangerous becomes the very path to fulfillment.

What if the greatest obstacle to joy isn’t what’s happening in your life—but what you’re hiding from yourself? In this episode, we explore how fear of our own inner world keeps us stuck, disconnected, and unable to fully give or receive.

At the core of our struggle is a “big lie”: the belief that parts of us are too flawed, too shameful, or too dangerous to face. So we hide them—not only from others, but from ourselves. This creates a split within us, leading to self-alienation, confusion, and a constant sense that something is off.

We’ll unpack how striving to be “ideal” only deepens this divide, and why both our self-judgment and our self-image are often distorted. As long as we avoid seeing ourselves clearly, even our desires and achievements lose their vitality—turning into frustration or emptiness.

The way forward is radical honesty. By gently facing what’s within—without acting on it or denying it—we begin to reclaim our inner authority. We realize we are not powerless; we have the ability to choose, to change, and to grow.

Because when we stop hiding, life opens. And what we feared becomes the doorway to freedom.

Do we need to accept life as it is—or can we create something better? In this episode, we explore the apparent contradiction between acceptance and transformation—and how fear sits at the center of both.

At first glance, spiritual teachings seem divided: some say we must accept hardship, while others promise abundance and freedom. But the real difference lies in why we seek change. When our desire for happiness is driven by fear—of pain, loss, or death—we unknowingly block what we want. Fear distorts our intentions and keeps us stuck.

This episode dives into how fear of death, loss of control, and discomfort prevents us from fully living. The tighter we cling—to life, to control, to outcomes—the less we experience joy and meaning. True abundance requires something counterintuitive: the willingness to let go, to face fear directly, and to trust life.

We’ll also explore how fear shapes our beliefs, our desires, and even our life circumstances—and how acknowledging our fear, rather than fighting it, begins to dissolve its power.

Because the truth is simple but profound: when we are no longer afraid, life opens. And what once felt like limitation becomes freedom.

Why do we fear the unknown—and how is that fear connected to love, life, and even death? In this episode, we explore the deeper roots of anxiety and the path to inner peace.

At the core of our fear is a resistance to letting go—of control, of certainty, and of the ego’s need to stay in charge. This fear shows up not only as fear of death, but also as fear of intimacy, self-discovery, and truly living. Beneath it all lies a lack of trust in ourselves and in the flow of life.

We’ll unpack the three core forces that block us—pride, self-will, and fear—and how they create barriers within us, between us and others, and between us and the greater current of life. As long as these forces dominate, we remain stuck in tension, resisting both change and connection.

But when we begin to face ourselves honestly and release our grip on control, something shifts. Life becomes less threatening, and the unknown becomes something we can move toward—not away from.

The result is a new kind of freedom: the ability to live fully, love deeply, and trust the unfolding of life without fear.

If love is the greatest power there is, why do we resist it? In this episode, we explore the hidden reasons we fear love—and how those fears quietly shape our relationships.

At the root of this fear is an immature part within us—the inner child—that holds unrealistic expectations about love. It wants to be fully loved, fully accepted, and never disappointed. At the same time, it resists giving up control. This creates a deep inner conflict: we long for love, yet fear the vulnerability and surrender it requires.

We’ll unpack how these unconscious demands distort our understanding of love, often turning it into either control or submission—neither of which is real love. True love, instead, requires maturity. It allows others to be who they are, without needing to possess or control them.

This episode also explores how developing self-awareness, humility, and patience helps us move from illusion to reality. As we begin to see ourselves clearly—and let go of our inner “forcing”—we build trust in ourselves and others.

The result? Love becomes less threatening and more freeing. Because real love doesn’t take away our freedom—it depends on it.

What if the root of every fear you experience isn’t “out there”—but within you? In this episode, we explore the deepest and most universal fear: the fear of self.

While we often believe we’re afraid of rejection, failure, or even death, these fears are actually projections of something closer to home. Beneath them lies a fear of our own inner world—our feelings, our impulses, and even our capacity for joy.

Because of this, we hold ourselves back, staying guarded and disconnected from the very life force that could bring us fulfillment.

But this inner world isn’t only filled with what we fear. It also holds immense creativity, love, and pleasure. The challenge is that we often block both—afraid of our negativity and equally afraid of our aliveness.

This episode explores how suppressed emotions—like anger and pain—can be transformed back into their original, life-affirming energy. It also examines the crucial balance between giving and receiving, and how withholding ourselves creates more suffering than lack ever could.

The path forward requires courage: to face ourselves honestly, to let go of control, and to begin living from the inside out. Because true freedom begins when we stop fearing who we are.
