The UDL boys give you some knowledge on the game known as beer die and talk about how the UDL first started and since grown to a league of 30+ teams. The UDL is legit! Coach Gibbons has been the NQHS hockey coach since 2010 and has had great success in his tenure with NQ winning multiple Patriot League titles and making many deep runs in the MIAA state tournament. The boys took a trip down memory lane with Coach Gibbons and reflected on their playing days with the NQ puck team. This was a great interview that sends a strong message to all hockey players on what high school hockey is truly about.

This week’s episode features an interview with a local Quincy legend and former Minnesota State Mankato standout Johnny McInnis. Johnny and the boys talk about their experiences growing up in Quincy and playing for the prolific Quincy Youth Hockey Program and also share some memories from their early playing days. The boys also talk to Johnny about his success during his playing career in juniors, at Minnesota State Mankato, and in the ECHL. Johnny ended his playing career a few years ago, but continued to be involved with the game of hockey as a coach at the youth level and also with the PHF’s Boston Pride. Johnny talks about the development of the PHF and helps spread the recognition of women’s hockey

Mike talks about his reaction to the recent trade that sent his contract rights from the Arizona Coyotes to his hometown team the Boston Bruins, and how the Friars hockey team is preparing for the upcoming Hockey East Tournament. Mike also reflects on his time spent at Providence College as a member of the hockey team and his love for country music and growing up down the road from Gillette Stadium.
