Our mission at MVP is to educate and guide individuals and families to promote and effect the best quality of life possible for their pets. This can be accomplished through a holistic perspective with consideration of each pet’s physical, mental and emotional well-being.

We look at health and disease on a continuum, involving physical, mental, and emotional aspects, all of which are influenced by diet, exercise and environmental factors. We work with our companion animal patients’ families, within the parameters of their own reality (how much time they have, their philosophies about health, what they are able to provide in terms of food and exercise to make positive change).

Millerton Veterinary Practice

Our mission at MVP is to educate and guide individuals and families to promote and effect the best quality of life possible for their pets. This can be accomplished through a holistic perspective with consideration of each pet’s physical, mental and emotional well-being.

We look at health and disease on a continuum, involving physical, mental, and emotional aspects, all of which are influenced by diet, exercise and environmental factors. We work with our companion animal patients’ families, within the parameters of their own reality (how much time they have, their philosophies about health, what they are able to provide in terms of food and exercise to make positive change).

Our tool box is large and diverse, enabling us to individualize care using western medicine (including diagnostic, surgical, and dental services), supplements, acupuncture, Chinese herbal formulas, chiropractic, nutritional counseling, laser therapy, rehabilitation, and training and behavior modification. We do this always with compassion and patience, treating every pet just as we would our own.

Carolyn Cannon, DVM, CAC

Our tool box is large and diverse, enabling us to individualize care using western medicine (including diagnostic, surgical, and dental services), supplements, acupuncture, Chinese herbal formulas, chiropractic, nutritional counseling, laser therapy, rehabilitation, and training and behavior modification. We do this always with compassion and patience, treating every pet just as we would our own.
