Record Album: The Challengers. The members of the quartet came together by chance in the fall of 1968, at Spring Vale Academy, a Christian boarding high school in Michigan. Our soloist hails from one of our local churches in South Dakota. The Challengers' mutual love for the Lord, along with encouragement from their friends, has persuaded these young fellows to extend their joy to others. They come to you, hopefully, to lift up, encourage, and inspire those of you who are seeking meaning in your life; to convey to you the warmth and sincerity they feel when singing for the Lord.
Song #10.

Looking upon the troubled world of today, it causes us to search our hearts for an answer. Indeed, it is glorious to know that we are able to find the answer — the only answer — in our Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ. John 14:6: "...I am the way, the truth, and the life; no man cometh unto the Father but by Me!"

After the Challengers have sung for you in your church or city, please feel welcome to come around, shake hands, and talk with each of them. Now to introduce them:

On the many low bass leads, we find Kevin Weir, who greatly enjoys being able to bring the praises of the Lord into your living room.

Ken Moldenhauer sings first tenor and is one who sincerely strives to witness for his Maker.

When we hear our baritone, Paul Carlin, sing, you know that he desires that each one should take the love of the Lord into their heart.

On second tenor, we have Ken Merriam, who is eager to bring you to a realization of our Great and Wonderful God.

Our soloist, Jim Fischer, after singing on a European Tour, is a college music major and happy to lend his talent in serving his Saviour.

At the piano, we have Elder Vernon Patchen, a talented pastor of the Owosso Church of God, 7th Day. He also serves as a counselor at Spring Vale Academy.

We give this album to your enjoyment and inspiration.

Song #12.

Song #2.

The members of the quartet came together by chance in the fall of 1968, at Spring Vale Academy, a Christian boarding high school in Michigan. Our soloist hails from one of our local churches in South Dakota.
