The podcast was created for clinicians by a clinician. I'm here to talk about therapy business in a way we haven't spoken about it before. Because it's really easy to tell therapists to let their niche come to them, and start a private practice. But, they didn't teach us business in grad school put us in the position to practice what we learned in the corporate world.

One thing they don't like to tell us is that there are no clear lucrative pathways for therapists. We're left to try and put the pieces together. For those of us who are lucky we form strong relationships and find amazing mentors. Many of us, struggle to make ends meet. Therapists should and can be rich, they just don't tech that in grad school!

In this podcast, you're going to hear my method of focusing in and creating an aligning therapy business that sets you up for a sustainable career. You'll even get homework time to explore your therapeutic career.

This is the introduction episode for the business of therapizing podcast and we're talking about the state of the mental health industry. It looks a lot like gentrification if you ask me and I share exactly why it looks that way. Throughout this episode, you'll be hit with what is happening to clinicians and how they are moving out of the field in droves. Along with, what we therapists can do to build a lucrative career path and stay in the field longer.
